    Hello,

my customer requires me to implement the 802.1X protocoll for the supplicant (i.e. client side) on an Xport pro.
This protocol (in this case) is used as device authentication against a Radius server and a hardware port enabling switch in a wired LAN environment.

I am planning to do this by use of standard Linux tools as wpa_supplicant or Xsupplicant.

Is there anyone who has already made any experiences in this area?

Are there any problems to be expected since it needs access to quite a low protocol stack level (it acts at the network layer on top of the data link layer)?

    Hi Geroest,

We are interested to comply with the 802.1X protocol on an Xport pro also.

    Did you find a solution?
