  • Does it need OEM signed RecovLoader_xPico240.rom?

    Hi,
I have a question of serial recovery of xPico200.
At the time of serial recovery of OEM signed firmware on Decviceinstaller.

Does it need OEM signed RecovLoader_xPico240.rom?
    or.
    Can it use orignal RecovLoader_xPico240.rom?

If it need OEM signed RecovLoader_xPico240.rom, how to make it?

    Best Regard,

Yes, the recovery loader needs to be signed with your private key if the xPico 240 OTP has your public key. You can follow the same process for signing the recovery loader as you follow to sign your custom firmware image.

      Hi,
      Thank you for your reply.
My customer tried making OEM signed RecovLoader_xPico240.rom.

      MINGW64 /c/xPico200
      $ ./lantronix/bin/ltrx-signimage-win64.exe ./rsa_key/oem_rsa_key.priv
      ./RecovLoader_xPico240.rom ./RecovLoader_xPico240.signed.rom

      But, it showed error massage.
ERROR: image @ 0x00000000 (0) is already signed
ERROR: Failure parsing rom input file "./RecovLoader_xPico240.rom"

Should they use no-signed .rom file? Where is it?

      Best Regards,

Yes, they need to use the unsigned .rom file. It's attached to this post.
