I'm sorry for maybe stupid question - I was sucesfully compiled and upload new firmware into Matchport, but now I don't know how I could verify that it works, i tried to connect to http://device_ip:7777 without succes (in processes are net2ser and ser2net). Could you please give me an advice what is necessary? Thank you in advance.

You should still be able to connect via the Web Manager, or, failing that, using a serial port to the CLI. From there you can examine various diagnostic tables to determine the state of your process, your socket, and so on.

If you have totally killed your device, then there is the Serial Recovery option on Device Installer.

Thank you for your fast response,
I'm able to connect to device via the Web Manager.. maybe mine question was wrong.
Mine problem is that I don't know how to check that the sample works, for example for cgi example to check that it works I should connect to device http://device_ip/sample, but at this time I don't have an idea how to check that sample tunnel works.
As basic step which could help me - How I could send one character to tcp (I'm able to check this character on serial port). Thank you again in advance for your support.

        Basic tunneling

The simplest way to exercise a tunnel is to just connect to the network port using telnet. The command is:

        telnet <ip_address> <port>

where <ip_address> is the address of your device, and <port> is the port number it is listening on.

Telnet send some extra escape sequences at the beginning, but it is very easy to use this way.
